About this movement
Who is Valko?
Valko is a character from Love and Deepspace — a mobile game by Papergames that has built one of the most passionate fanbases in the genre. He captured the hearts of players with his complex personality, striking design, and the depth of his story.
Why fans love him
Valko isn't a simple character. He's layered — guarded on the surface, deeply feeling underneath. Players who connected with him desvribe him as a warm character who felt genuinely real, and whose arc rewarded patience and attention.
His design became iconic within the community. Fan art, fan fiction, and community discussions around Valko were some of the most active in the entire game's history.
What happened
After racist attacks and a boycott from a very vocal minority overseas, Papergames made the decision to remove Valko from Love and Deepspace. For the fans who had invested time, emotion, and real money in preperation for his launch, it felt like a loss and a major breach of trust.
This site exists because that community didn't go quiet. We organized. We petitioned. We kept showing up, and we're still showing up today.
What we're asking for
We're asking Papergames to bring Valko back. Not a replacement, not a reinterpretation — Valko, restored to the game in a way that honors the character and the community that loves him.
We believe Papergames can hear us if enough voices speak.
